Who should study Business Intelligence?
Individuals who want to have an impact on decisions that affect the daily operations of companies and organizations by supplying data and analyses will find their calling in our BI programme. Successful candidates to the programme must have a bachelor's degree (in any field) from an internationally recognized university. Candidates who have previously completed coursework in Statistics, Microeconomics, Computer Information Systems or IT are strongly encouraged to apply to this programme
Business Intelligence: Career and Study Opportunities
With a Masters Degree in Business Intelligence from Dalarna University, students are able to apply for the Phd Programme in Microdata Analysis at Dalarna University. Those students who have completed the DU BI Programme successfully will be exempt from the first year of studies upon admission to the PhD programme. Researchers at the university will be involved in the supervision.

The programme is a two-year Masters in Business Intelligence. All courses are taught in English. After passing all courses, including the thesis work, the student is awarded the Degree of Master of Science with a major in Microdata Analysis.
The Masters Degree Programme in Business Intelligence is for the student who wants to gain in-depth knowledge and skills within all parts of the BI chain. The courses in the programme deal with different aspects of Business Intelligence.

Scholarships
There are five scholarships available for successful applicants to the Business Intelligence Programme who are applying from non-EU/EEA countries.
Students from the following countries are not eligible for these scholarships: Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Uganda and Zambia.
Applicants from these countries may apply for Swedish Institute scholarships.
Value of Scholarships
Four scholarships available that cover 25% of tuition fees for one-year (60 credits).
One scholarship available that covers 50% of tuition fees for one year (60 credits).
