Chaplaincy and Pastoral Care

This qualification reflects the function of chaplains and/or rustic and spiritual care workers who provide ongoing moral, ethical and spiritual support to clients with a person-centred approach.Workers operate within the practices and guidelines of their organisation and within the skilled and ethical standards of their relevant institution. The evolution of selfawareness and individuality underpin effective work in rustic and spiritual care and are improved over the years, through professionally controlled practice and mentoring.Work may take place in a range of contexts, including schools, community outreach and neighborhood churches in a paid or volunteer capacity.Work in these roles could also require commissioning in a recognised religious institution.To accomplish that qualificationthe candidate must have completed at least 100 hours of are detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency.National school chaplaincy regulations or regulations could affect the qualification.
