Admission to a research degree is at the discretion of the potential supervisor and is based on a proposal from the applicant following discussions with the member of staff whose academic area of interest is most appropriate.

Areas of interest

• Ergonomics; human factors aspects of manufacturing/ integrated management systems; computer aided ergonomics. Integration of ergonomics; health and safety; quality and environment.
• Quality management systems; environmental management systems; safety management systems; operations management.
• Enterprise modelling; product and process development; innovation management.
• Logistics, operations strategy, and business operations.
• Statistical techniques of production and process control; process accreditation.

Requirements

• You'll need to submit a research proposal along with your application.  This application will take two steps:

1. A potential supervisor must review and approve
2. Submit your applicaton through the online PAC system.

• Masters degree to honours standard (or equivalent international qualification). Other evidence that signifies suitability for the programme.
• All applicants, whose first language is not English, must present one of the following qualifications in the English language. IELTS 6.5. TOEFL 92. 
• A personal statement
• Transcripts
• CV
