Requirements for the Clarinet Programme at Gaetano Donizetti Institute of Music Studies

Are you interested in studying the clarinet at the Gaetano Donizetti Institute of Music Studies? Our clarinet programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful clarinetist. In order to be accepted into the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of prior clarinet experience.
• Applicants must demonstrate a strong knowledge of music theory and sight-reading.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of technical proficiency on the clarinet.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high level of musicality and expression.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to practice and improvement.
