This program has been strategically designed as a National University Course Accreditation Program (NUCAP) accredited course. NUCAP may be your certification body for Training and Sports Science Australia (ESSA), and on successful conclusion of this program, graduates will be qualified to be ESSA accredited Clinical Exercise Physiologists (CEPs). Graduates must qualify for expert practitioner certification with ESSA to obtain access to some Medicare Provider number and work as a documented Allied Health professional (e.g. Clinical Exercise Physiologist) under the Australian government's Medicare health schemes such as Department of Veterans' Affairs, Health funding or WorkCover. The application offers two options (by coursework or from minor thesis), that may allow students to choose between a plan of study focussed on the use of research ingestion for expert training or by conclusion of minor thesis to sustain a pathway for higher degree study.
