Community Services

This qualification reflects the functions of community services, case management and social housing workers involved with the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services for individuals, communities and groups. At this degree, workers have specialized abilities in community services and work under broad instructions from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct aid to individuals or categories of individuals. Workers might even have responsibility for the oversight of other volunteers and workers and/or case management; program coordination or the evolution of new small business opportunities.Note that the Statutory & Staff kid, childhood & family welfare specialisationmust be achieved orderto meet the minimum education requirements for child protection and youth justice clinic in Victoria. In addition, to meet minimum education requirements for admission into child safety clinic in Victoria, diploma qualifications must be approved by the Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA)To achieve this qualificationthe candidate should have completed at least 100 hours of are detailed in the Assessment Requirements of components of competency.No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification conditions apply to the eligibility during the time of book.
