This qualification reflects the roles of community agencies, case management and social home workers involved in the managing, co-ordinating and/or delivering of person-centred services to individuals, communities and groups. At this level, workers have specialized abilities in community services and work autonomously under comprehensive guidelines from senior management. Workers are usually providing direct aid to individuals or groups of people. Workers may also have responsibility for the supervision of other workers and volunteers or case management; program manipulation or the progression of new small business opportunities.Note that the Statutory & forensic child, childhood & family impairment specialisationmust be done orderto meet the minimum education requirements for child protection and youth justice clinic at Victoria. In addition, to fulfill the minimum education requirements for entry into child protection training in Victoria, diploma qualifications needs to be approved by the Australian Community Workers Association (ACWA)To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 100 hours of are detailed in the Assessment Requirements of components of competency.No licensing, legislative, regulatory or certification requirements affect this qualification at time of book.
