- Big Data, Data Science. Artificcial Intelligience
The graduates are prepared to design IT systems, to program distributed applications, especially WWW applications and operating systems for mobile items like smart phones and tablet computers. The graduate is equipped with the essential knowledge to create a fully functional system with the use of advanced multilayer techniques and able to operate on Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) and Microsoft NET platforms. The graduate will be able to design data bases, build functionality of integrated managing systems, systems B2B, B2C and Business Intelligence. The graduate will be able to analyze and process data from Big Data using Cloud Computing as well as parallel processing techniques, Hadoop systems, NoSQL base, analysis and exploration of data using R and Python language.
The specialty answers to the great demand for specialists in data processing, relational and non-relational database, data storage and Big Data. A graduate gets acquainted with the full process of data processing from designing, programming, using, cleaning and storage, through requiring and reporting to compound analysis and knowledge discovery in databases.
- Internet of Things and Smart Grid Technologies
This specialty educates the graduates in the field of designing, implementing and exploitation of operating network systems, computer networks as well as managing them taking the security of database (storage and transmission) and reliability of apps and systems into particular consideration. A graduate is able to design and program the systems based on IoT, sensor nets (mainly wireless), remote control, adaptive apps, smart buildings and towns, measurement networks and monitoring systems.
A specialty studies educate of high class experts prepared to use the latest information and communication tools for contacts between devices and implementing an interface between a person and device as well as in “intelligent” systems apps based on IoT.
- Obligatory criteria:
- A filled in application form
- Submission of a set of documents required for recruitment
- Good command of English (proved by the certificates confirming at least at the B2 of common reference levelof English language ) and the candidates will have to take an entrance English exam (including demonstrating writing, reading, listening and speaking proficiency).

In case the number of candidates exceeds the number of places the additional criteria will be applied.
Meeting the criteria mentioned above and the received number of points will decide on the candidate’s admittance. If the number of candidates exceeds the number of places the transcript of grades on the high school certificate or the result of maturity exam in a major subject will be taken under the consideration.
In case the criteria outlined in I and II do not allow the process of recruitment to be completed the order of applyingwill decide.
The last step is signing the Learning Agreement which will outline the conditions of studying and fees for studies under the Computer Science program (1st cycle of Engineering Studies, 3,5 year study cycle).
Terms of participation in classes
- The students are obliged to attend all the classes regularly which is registered by a personal signature on the list. The students are required to be punctual and actively participate in classes.
- The students are obliged to take part in the International Summer School.
- The students have to take part in monitoring the process of implementing the project, evaluating and estimating it by filling the relevant questionnaires.
- The students must show their presence on at least 90% hours of each program.
- The students have to take part in surveying the graduates careers within 12 months after graduation.
