Construction Management

The Graduate Diploma of Construction Management uses a case-based way of learning to provide you with the very first understanding of the theory and practice of construction management.The class will provide with a basic understanding of the building business and construction projects with the knowledge to commence a career in various roles as a construction professional.The class has been designed for pupils from a related built environment discipline who would like to expand their expertise and transition into the construction industry.It is also suitable for pupils who have demonstrable professional experience in construction, through public or private enterprises, who would like to formalise their entry into the construction direction profession.Students will work in a multidisciplinary context to add knowledge on construction management, quantity surveying, Building Information Modelling and ecological systems.

Bachelor degree in related field OR Bachelor degree in any field plus 2 years relevant professional work experience (or part time equivalent) OR Completion of Graduate Certificate in Construction Management or equivalentOR Proof of academic capability judged to be equivalent.
