The Counselling degree is designed to prepare graduates for employment in clinical counselling or church ministry settings. Students with a clinical focus are geared towards psychotherapy and the educational preparation for certification with professional counselling associations such as the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT). Graduates with a Pastoral Care and Counselling Focus are trained in issues such as: family conflicts, crisis intervention, and life transitions. Tyndale students gain counselling experience through solid counselling internships.
