The PhD programme in Cybernetics provides graduates with comprehensive theoretical knowledge, practical experience and training for individual scientific work in the field of systems control. Special emphasis is being put on complex and large-scale systems control using robust and adaptive approaches. Network control systems, control of organic nature systems (a branch of biocybernetics) as well as complex program systems are also included. In the application area focus is on control of power systems and other complex, large-scale and multivariable systems. Graduates acquire knowledge based on the present know edge and with their inventive work contribute to the development of the scientific knowledge in the subject field.
