Data Science

The Accreditation Certificate of Data Science is intended to prepare students to work in various functions in qualitative decision-making. Build in your existing undergraduate eligibility and/or industry experience as you develop skills related to handling, translating, visualising and gain knowledge from little to midsize data collections. In this course, you'll expand your knowledge of computer science, data analytics and visualisation, and gain an comprehension of the challenges of this data management lifecycle. You'll also complete a project-based learning unit created to introduce industry-relevant tools and techniques.

The admission requirements for the Graduate Certificate of Data Science include : a Bachelor degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) field or even a Bachelor degree in Statistics or Computer Science or even a non-STEM Bachelor degree and 3 years industry experience in the data analytics, and database, software development or related fields or 5 years industry experience at the data analytics, database, software development or related subjects. Language language requirements Satisfactory completion of one of these: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 high level degree ) with overall 70 percent, each of skills 65% minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0 TOEFL iBT (web-based ) minimum score of 7-9 with a studying band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20 Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 5 8 (no grammatical abilities less than 50) any other equivalent examination of English language proficiency.
