Dental Prosthetics

This qualification reflects the function of a dental prosthetist who works as individual practitioners from the examination, treatment, management of a individual who requires provision of removable dentures; and who additionally provides unique elastic removable mouthguards used for athletic activities.To achieve this qualification, the candidate will need to have done at a minimum of 240 hrs of dental prosthetist clinical practice act as detailed in the Assessment Prerequisites of the units of competency. A graduate holding an Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics approved by the Dental Board of Australia Can apply for registration with the Dental Board of Australia.
