The Institute of Music Studies of P.I. Tchaikovsky offers a comprehensive double bass programme for aspiring musicians. Requirements for the Double Bass Programme at the Institute of Music Studies of P.I. Tchaikovsky

The Institute of Music Studies of P.I. Tchaikovsky offers a comprehensive Double Bass programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience playing the double bass.
• Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in Music Theory.
• Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 5 in a practical music exam.
• Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 4 in a foreign language.
• Applicants must have a minimum of Grade 4 in Mathematics.

In addition to the above requirements, applicants must also submit a portfolio of their work, including recordings of their playing, and a personal statement outlining their goals and aspirations.
