Earth and Atmospheric Sciences

With nearly 60 Bachelor of Science (BSc) programs in 39 subject areas, we are one of the most comprehensive science faculties in Canada. The Bachelor of Science (BSc) General degree allows you to focus on more than one area of study. By selecting from a variety of major and minors as well as optional courses, you can create a diversified degree based on your own interests. Your major must be in Science, but your minor can be from Science; Arts; Business; or Agriculture, Life and Environmental Sciences (double majors are also available).A small department with a BIG impact, the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences offers programs that examine the EarthпПСits structure and evolution, and the atmosphere above us. Our programs offer an interdisciplinary approach to the study of environmental earth science, geology, atmospheric science and geography.
