  The Haskayne School of Business was founded at the University of Calgary in 1967, and was named in honour of Richard F. Haskayne, OC, AOE, FCA in 2002. The business school has approximately 3,500 full- and part-time students enrolled in bachelor's, master's, doctorate, and executive education programs, and stays connected with its nearly 23,000 alumni in over 80 countries worldwide.

  The Haskayne School of Business offers a full range of degree programs including: Bachelor of Commerce; Master of Business Administration (MBA); Executive MBA; Global Energy Executive MBA; PhD in Management; an interdisciplinary Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Development; and a full range of open and customized Executive Education programs.

• Faculty of Kinesiology

  Our Faculty is committed to creating a healthier society. Our research shows that the key to better health is exercise. We advocate for healthy, active, living and we research health, wellness and human performance.  We are working to create a healthier society, by preventing injury, reversing unhealthy trends like obesity and diabetes and by helping people to return to the activities they enjoy as quickly as possible after injury or disease.

• Faculty of Law

  Located in the heart of northwest Calgary, with a view of the majestic Rocky Mountains, our campus is a haven of natural beauty. Green space is bountiful and the campus is well laid out and easily accessible. The Faculty of Law is housed in one of the most central and architecturally-pleasing buildings on campus. 

  Our students are well positioned for success given our proximity to top legal experts in the field and the enviable position Calgary has of being home to the greatest concentration of major corporate head offices in Canada. In 2013, we recorded an Articling placement rate of 97%, and our placement is consistently among the highest in Canada. Our students consistently stand higher than the 81st percentile in LSAT scores, and the average GPA for the 2014/2015 admission year was 3.61.

  Our Faculty’s mission is to advance nursing practice and promote health through research and learning. • Faculty of Veterinary Medicine

  The University of Calgary Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (UCVM) was established in 2005 to meet Alberta’s need for highly-skilled veterinary graduates supporting rural Alberta, production animal and equine industries, animal and human health research, and public health.  

  UCVM is dedicated to meeting the animal and public health needs of Alberta through its education, research and outreach programs.

  UCVM offers the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) program, supervision leading to graduate degrees (MSc, PhD) in Veterinary Medical Sciences, and advanced clinical training programs (internships, fellowships, and residencies). UCVM is also committed to professional development programs for the veterinary community. 

• School of Education

  The Werklund School of Education, University of Calgary has roots that date back more than a century to the establishment of the Normal School in Calgary in 1905. The Alberta Normal School, located at McDougall School, was the first program in in the new province to prepare primary and secondary school teachers.  In 1945, the Alberta Normal School became part of the Faculty of Education, University of Alberta. With the establishment of the University of Calgary in 1966, the Faculty moved to what is today the main campus of the University of Calgary. 

  In 2013, the University of Calgary introduced the Werklund School of Education. Through a generous donation by David Werklund, a Canadian entrepreneur and industry leader, funding has been established for student scholarships, research support and teaching innovation as well as upgrades to technology and other resources which will allow the Werklund School of Education to take research and teaching and learning to the next level.
