Educational Studies attracts students from all walks of life, including many who don't plan to become classroom teachers. We welcome everyone with an interest in education, which touches all our lives as concerned citizens, taxpayers, or future parents.Because it complements many majors, Educational Studies is one of the most interdisciplinary departments at Carleton. In our courses you'll meet students from almost every major on campus--united by a common belief in the importance of our schools and education's role in a democratic society.
