Engineering is the practical application of the sciences and also the way to make use of physics to create structures; just how to make use of maths in oil and gas installations; the way computer programming can make a robot come into life; and more. The Diploma of Engineering will introduce students to a range of subjects resulting in next year of their engineering degrees offered at La Trobe University. The course is practical and hands-on. Every one of La Trobe University's engineering degrees are accredited by Engineers Australia and comprise work positioning in a range of fields. Based on the preferred level students will develop skills in a number of core subjects including biomedical engineering, communication engineering, electronic and electric technologies, sustainability in energy manufacturing, automotive engineering, the application of technology in advanced medicine, job management of large scale endeavors and sustainable infrastructure, and water resources, civil construction, surveying and design design.
