Engineering (Honours) / Science

Students undertake the Bachelor of Engineering Pre-Major in their first year and on successful conclusion proceed in their next year to a plumped for Engineering and Science specialisation. The double degree is designed to prepare students who will graduate as engineers together with advanced technical skills at a subject closely aligned with their technology specialization. The blend of both level programs provides graduates with the ability to just work at the interface between both areas in research and development.

The Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) was accorded full recognition by Engineers Australia exempting graduates from all academic requirements for corporate membership. To qualify for corporate membership of Engineers Australia a grad additionally requires a minimum of four years approved experience following the award of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) level.
