Ergonomics, Safety and Health

This program is designed for people seeking a professional qualification in occupational health and safety (OHS) with specialist expertise in ergonomics. Built to allow for busy professionals, it's offered part-time (upto maximum of half a normal fulltime load) without a compulsory attendance requirements. Course assignments and content are flexible to the needs and interests of a diverse array of students.

The Guru of ErgonomicsSafety and Health is accredited by the Australian Occupational Health and Safety Accreditation Board (AOHSEAB). Professional registration might require a software to the professional body and might have additional or ongoing requirements beyond the conclusion of this degree. Please contact the relevant body for details. Graduates of the Master of Ergonomics, Safety and Health can apply for membership together with the Safety Institute of Australia and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia. Membership may be susceptible to additional or ongoing requirements beyond finishing the degree. Please contact the relevant body for details.

• The minimum entrance requirement is successful completion of a relevant AQF Level 8 Australian Bachelor degree (or its equivalent) e.g. biological or behavioural factors, health or allied health profession, industrial engineering
• In generating an offer for an applicant, the University can give consideration to a range of elements to determine whether a candidate has demonstrated that the capacity to work at a Masters level, including academic record, English proficiency, and/or employment experience
• NB: Collecting minimal prerequisites does not guarantee an offer of an area
• Entrance into all La Trobe lessons relies on competitive selection and there could be limited places available.
