Requirements for the Euphonium Programme at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia

The National Academy of Santa Cecilia offers a unique opportunity for aspiring euphonium players to hone their skills and develop their musical talents. Our Euphonium Programme is designed to provide students with the highest level of instruction and performance opportunities.

In order to be accepted into the Euphonium Programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 16 years of age
• Have a minimum of two years of experience playing the euphonium
• Be able to read music
• Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of music theory
• Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of music history
• Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of music composition
• Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of music performance
• Be able to demonstrate a basic understanding of music technology
