Event Management

This qualification reflects the function of individuals operating at a senior level who use a wide variety of specialised managerial abilities and also significant understanding of event management processes to conceive, plan and stage events. They operate with significant autonomy and are responsible in making tactical company and event management decisions.Events are diverse in character which qualification provides a path to work for event or exhibition organisations operating in a selection of businesses, for example, tourism and travel, hospitality, and sport, cultural, and community sectors.The diversity of companies comprises event or exhibition management firms, event places, or organisations which perform their own events. Work can be undertaken at an office environment where the preparation of events occurs, on-site at places where events are staged, or even some mixture of both.Possible job titles include:conference managerevent directorevent producerevent or exhibit managerfunctions managerin-house meetings managermeetings managerproject managervenue manager.No occupational licensing, certificate or special legislative requirements apply to this eligibility during the time of publication.
