This qualification reflects the role of people using a wide assortment of event-related skills and sound understanding of event management processes to coordinate event operations. They operate independently and make usable event management decisions.Events are diverse in nature and this qualification provides a pathway to benefit exhibition or event organisations operating in a range of businesses, including the tourism and travel, hospitality, and sport, cultural, and community sectors.The diversity of employers comprises exhibition or event management companies, event venues, or businesses which perform their own events. Work could be undertaken in an office environment where the preparation of events takes place, on site at areas where events have been staged or some blend of both.Possible job titles include:conference coordinatorevent or exhibition coordinatorevent or exhibition plannerevent sales coordinatorfunction coordinatorin-house meetings coordinatormeetings coordinatorstaging coordinatorvenue coordinator.No occupational licensing, certificate or special legislative requirements apply to this eligibility at that time of publication.
