The Master's track 'Evidence-based Education' is for students seeking a thorough understanding of how educational research can contribute to the development of educational innovations that are effective in fostering academic, meta-cognitive, socio-emotional and behavioural student outcomes. The core idea of the track is that—from macro to micro level—stable educational improvement can only occur if there is a solid knowledge base to feed educational practice. Graduates will be equipped to undertake and evaluate educational improvement initiatives, at whatever level they choose to operate as professionals.
