The Master of Exercise Science offers an enhanced understanding of varied sub-disciplines that are informed by the latest research developments and contemporary professional training. These sub-disciplines studies might include: clinical, sport and occupational biomechanics; exercise structure; motor learning and control; game, exercise, health and coaching psychology; physical activity promotion; and sport and diversion marketing and management. In addition to learning how cognitive abilities, several units involve advanced technical and measurement skills developed through classes and laboratories. Most units provide chances for students to plan, prepare and run small studies, then analyse these records and report findings in the written and oral formats. Skills in literature hunting, synthesising the results of the published papers and comparing a person's very own data within this context are embedded in lots of facets of study.
A relevant bachelor's degree or Graduate Degree in Exercise Rehabilitation, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA. English language requirements apply.
