Extended Care Paramedicine

Built to Deliver the paramedic with the necessary knowledge and skills for a career in Extended Care Paramedicine. The course focuses on the clinical issues directly related to extended care clinic, and develops a greater depth of knowledge of their pathophysiology, assessment and direction of various acute and chronic medical and minor trauma patients in the area healthcare setting.Students will learn advanced-level clinical knowledge to apply to their daily paramedic clinic, while at the identical time learning high level abilities in simplifying practice.The blend of advanced clinical knowledge and skills provides students with the power to continuously improve their particular clinical practice, in addition to impact on the organisation they are employed by and the wider Paramedicine community.

University entry requirements apply. All applicants need to have a Bachelor's degree in Paramedicine, with equivalents considered. Alternatively applicants may apply with equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience.
