Primary Health Care

This system intends to extend the opportunity for health, and other professionals with primary health care responsibilities to acquire knowledge and comprehension of primary health care that may empower leadership within this area. It offers a focus on the data and behaviour necessary for a primary health care provider in a shifting community environment. Key knowledge areas include primary health care principles and application and wellness promotion. Students who successfully complete the program may move into the Graduate Diploma in Primary medical care.

• Professional qual in health (AQF level 6 or equivalent) Advanced Diploma or More and 3 years FTE professional work experience in the sector
• Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a statement of service for all work experience listed on the application
