Extended Care Paramedicine

Built to provide the paramedic with the essential understanding and skills for a lifetime career as a staff leader or single responder in Extended Care Paramedicine. The course focuses on the clinical problems directly related to practice, and develops a better depth of knowledge to increase clinical decision making and criticalthinking. Students will learn advanced-level clinical knowledge to use for their own daily para-medical practice, while at precisely exactly the exact same time learning higher level skills in evidence-based practice.The blend of advanced clinical awareness and applied research knowledge and skills provides students with the ability to continuously enhance their particular clinical practice, in addition to effect on the organisation that they are employed by and the wider Paramedicine community.

University admission requirements apply. All applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree in Paramedicine, or have completed a Graduate Certificate of Extended Care Paramedicine, with equivalents considered. Alternately applicants can get equivalent prior learning including at least five years appropriate professional experience.
