The course reflects and contributes to an evolving world, nurturing ingenuity and inventiveness to create groundbreaking new work. It will meet the needs of graduates who have identified a specific interest within fashion, who wish to explore and deepen their knowledge and expertise whilst engaging in a holistic, interdisciplinary, multi levelled approach towards design for sustainability.

Masters Project Proposal
This unit supports the development of your project proposal. You will be able to work on your initial ideas discussed at interview, through reviewing and revising your focus in line with developing interests synthesised from your work within the specialist units of your MA course.

A staged process of development and review culminates in the presentation of the proposal for assessment. Individual and original results must be underpinned by sound research methodologies, and you will be expected to consult a wide range of specialist resources.

You will be introduced to a broad range of research methodologies and skills, including presentations, workshops and practitioner case studies. This unit will support you in the completion of your coursework assignments and will prepare you for the development of your Masters Project.

You should have: * A good Honours degree in a related discipline (2:1 or above) or equivalent qualification or a minimum of 3 years industrial experience at an appropriate level * IELTS level 6.5 or equivalent if English is not your first languageYour application should include a short essay, two references and your portfolio supplied on a disc or sent electronically. Any pieces of work larger than A4 can be shown if selected for interview.Selection ProcessYou will be asked to submit a written piece of work along with your application form and personal statement. You may also be asked to provide evidence of your work to date in the form of written examples or images. Interviews are subject to your initial application.An admissions tutor will review your application and you may be called to interview.
