The Master of Finance (Financial Planning) is approved by the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) and equips students with the educational requirements to training as a qualified financial planner. Students develop knowledge and skills in areas like personal budgeting, superannuation and retirement planning, investment management, financial risk management, insurance planning and taxation planning. Within their studies, students utilize XPLAN, one of the most frequently used financial planning software in Australia, and have the chance to go through the on-campus IRESS Trading Room which comprises a market data feed along with global financial analysis software. Students also develop and provide a more detailed statement of information (SOA).

- Completed bachelor degree from a recognised higher education institution or equivalent
- or a finished graduate certificate or greater post graduate qualification in a recognised higher education institution. International students who speak English as a foreign language must have got the necessary criteria before admission.
