Fine Arts - Design for Performance

NIDA's Bachelor of Fine Arts (Design for Performance) equips students with the information and skills to respond to design briefs asset, lighting or costume designers. Students undertake specialist education and learning designing for places, costumes, properties and light, as well as accumulating technical skills within model-making, making, virtual visualisation techniques, manual drafting, computer-aided drafting (CAD) and life drawing. Students learn in a collaborative environment through workshops, conceptual and realised projects, and also major designs including productions, exhibitions and installations, as well as a market positioning. The course equips students with the specific knowledge and skills to pursue careers as designers and designers designers of sets, scenery, costumes, properties and light at the arts and entertainment businesses, including cinema, opera, dance, film, tv and events.

• Undergraduate applicants seeking admission must:'ve reached Age 18 before the commencement of the course (in exceptional circumstances this may be Disputed )
• Hold a Higher School Certificate or its equivalent out of Some Other state or territory in Australia or overseas (in exceptional circumstances this may be Disputed )
• Be fluent in spoken and Skillful in written English Terminology (8.0 IELTS or equivalent to Acting, 7.0 IELTS or equivalent to all other BFA courses for international students)
