NIDA's Bachelor of Fine Arts (Staging) is the only amount of its kind offered in Australia, and among only a few available worldwide. The course equips students with a comprehension of aspects of staging in terms of making a production. This includes current staging practice, stage engineering, platform rigging and automation hazard and project direction, together with a broader theoretical and theoretical understanding of cinema , culture and arts. The class involves an industry placement and equips students to pursue careers as technical painters and designers, construction managers, set builders, filming technicians and mechanists in the arts and entertainment businesses.

  • Undergraduate applicants seeking admission must:'ve reached the age of 18 before the Start of the Class (in exceptional circumstances this may be waived)
  • Hold a Higher School Certificate or its equivalent out of Some Other state or territory from Australia or overseas (in exceptional circumstances this may be waived)
