Fire Safety Engineering

This program intends to provide professionals with all the special abilities and knowledge to produce, assess and assess fire safety engineering solutions for built environment. It supplies the principles of fire science and engineering fundamentals. It introduces the performance based build regulatory frame under which fire safety engineering is practiced. The busy construction fire solutions, human response to fires and also the concept of risk are also covered. The program is related to professionals assessing different methods to fit the objectives and performance requirements of building regulations. The application sets a pathway into complex qualification at the Graduate Diploma level.

• Undergraduate level or higher, in engineering, building, structure, building surveying, bushfire protection, structure or physical sciences
• or even a Diploma or higher in engineering, building, structure, building surveying, bushfire protection, structure or physical sciences plus 2yrs FTE fact-finding or professional job experience in the relevant areas at the building industry, town or country fire companies.
