This program empowers students to gain experience in the creation of computer games and other forms of interactive websites. Students obtain experience in assessing and identifying ideas, production of design theories, critique of existing and potential products, investigation of cultural influence and business trends through to the delivery and development of your last product. The program provides a foundation in both calculating artistic and technology skills. First semester commences with center studies in the basics of design, programming, games studies and IT professional expertise. At the last year, students take part in a significant group project to generate a substantial piece of computational art work.
Students may find a way to maintain advanced position for part of this program, based on completed or partially completed studies, and additional assessable learning outcomes.
- Year 12 or equivalent
- Assumed knowledge: English (4,SA) and Maths A, B or C (4,SA)
