General Studies

This program acts like a pathway into level studies at Avondale for those who don't meet with the direct entrance requirements. Most students have the ability to begin their preferred Avondale level after successfully completing one semester in the program. It provides individual assist in critical thinking, composition and essay writing, managing a study schedule and different skills necessary for academic success or entrance into job.

Applicants are generally expected to have completed Year 12 (or equivalent) with a minimum ATAR of 4-5 or even OP of all 2 1. Applicants that have completed Year 12 OR that are 19 years and above by March 1 in the year of commencement of this course who obtain suitable UniTEST/TOWA scores. People who do not obtain suitable UniTEST/TOWA scores will qualify to enter following further testing.
