The Master of Health Economics and Policy is excellent for professionals wanting to advance their careers in health policy, management and planning; and who wish to make a huge big difference to people's health all over the world. It's the only degree in Australia to offer courses in both conventional economic theory and practice and health economics, and has a solid focus on the development of practical skills to support the use of health economics from the realworld. The degree offers an advanced understanding of how society can manage and improve the health of inhabitants by providing handson knowledge in solving realworld health economic difficulties. Using a flexible instruction arrangement that includes internet analysis choices, contemporary teaching procedures, and wide variety of elective courses, the degree delivers a solid foundation in economics and allows pupils to emphasise their studies to their own educational background or career dreams. Students learn in smallish groups with close oversight from leading researchers with international reputations. To finish the degree and to cement course-work learning, students have the choice of completing a single dissertation or even a tiny group-based research undertaking. The group projects involve the conclusion of an economic investigation and the results of previous projects have been published in peerreviewed journals. Graduates have a high degree of knowledge and skill round the fields of economics, health, health policy, health economics and health technology assessment, and are well prepared for rewarding careers in a selection of sectors nationally and internationally.

  • Or Graduate Certification in Economics from the University of Adelaide.

    Assumed knowledge: SACE Stage 2 Mathematical Studies or equivalent. All applicants must send a written statement of 500 words (max ) on their grounds for wanting to undertake the application and also a CV into the institution of Public Health within five trading days after employing.
