Clinical Nutritionists approach disease avoidance and direction through a lens that is squishy. Nutrient adequacy, food grade, dietary behaviours and life style are assessed to ensure individualised Nutrition Care Plans can be developed. Scientific evidence, ethics and solid clinical justification guide training to be certain diet and supplement recommendations are safe and efficacious. Clinical nutritionists incorporate conventional food wisdom and current scientific evidence to motivate communities and individuals to better eat well and live healthier lives.

Candidates may apply for membership with the following professional associations: Australian Natural Therapists Association, Australian Traditional Medicine Society and The Nutrition Society of Australia

  • Year 12 or equivalent (OP/ATAR score never required)
  • Older age pupils could be admitted by interview without meeting academic requirements if they have relevant work experience or other acceptable qualifications. Application is by face to face or telephone interview with an Enrolment Advisor
