The job of Health Science/Bachelor of Media and Communication will equip students with a comprehensive collection of skills, knowledge and attributes to efficiently promote health messages, innovations and products to a broad variety of audiences. In this dual level students will develop complementary and cross-disciplinary abilities and comprehension ergo leading for their future readiness and advanced abilities within their preferred career.

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • VCE prerequisites: Units 3 and 4: a minimum study score of 25 in English (or equivalent) or 30 in English (EAL). Added performance criteria and prerequisite requirements can also apply. Students selecting the Major in Biomedical and Clinical Technologies have to have completed a few prior study in math. English language requirements - satisfactory conclusion of one of these following: Swinburne's English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 higher level) with overall 65%, all of skills 65 percent
  • Minimum IELTS overall group of 6.0 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
  • TOEFL iBT (web-based ) minimum score of 75 with a reading ring a minimum of 18 and writing ring a minimum of 20
  • Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 50 (no real skills less than 50)
  • every other equivalent assessment of English language proficiency. Notice: A necessity for all courses, the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) can now be done on campus at Hawthorn.
