Health Science (Western Herbal Medicine)

Western Herbal Medicine Practitioners use a holistic approach to wellness. Throughout your studies, you will obtain a knowledge of health science, clinical examination, pharmacology, herbal combination, quality and safety issues affecting health care decisions. As part of your practice, you'll also learn how to provide basic dietary and lifestyle advice to your clients. You will also acquire hands-on expertise at The Practice Wellbeing Centre consulting members of the public under the guidance of experienced Western Herbal Medicine practitioners. This will definitely prepare you to start practice locally. Clinical Practice: Work Integrated Learning and Clinical Practicum Experience are embedded across the course and are incorporated into theory issues. Students complete most practice requirements at our custom-built University Student-led Clinic - The Practice Wellbeing Centre. You will gain hands on experience by consulting members of the public under the guidance of experienced practitioners. This will definitely prepare you to practice locally.
