This course provides multidisciplinary training to help you develop technical and analytical skills, an understanding of human-computer interaction, and human-centred approaches to software design and deployment. A distinctive feature of the degree is the focus on the application of cognitive psychology to technology design, and the seeking of a balance between the interdisciplinarity of cognitive science and the technical skills needed for building systems. You gain direct experience of a range of methodologies for the design and evaluation of interactive computer systems.
