This multidisciplinary Research Master's program, stretches from molecular biology to cognitive neuroscience and human motor behaviour. The programme prepares students for a career in scientific research in the domains of sport, health, or more basic fundamental aspects of human movement. The first year is dedicated to preparation for scientific research, providing a profound background in the domains of sport, rehabilitation, and regenerative medicine. In addition, you are trained in state-of-the-art research methods and advanced statistics. You can fine-tune your own profile, with a focus on sport, health, or more basic fundamental aspects of human movement. The second year is reserved for a research internship, to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of scientific research. The department offers ample possibilities for spending (part of the) internship abroad. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be awarded an internationally recognized Master of Science degree (MSc) and you are all set to pursue a scientific career, typically starting with a PhD position. However, you will also be well equipped for other research-related positions.
