The programme:

* Lasts for four years
* Has taught modules (120 credits) in the first three years in Science, Engineering, Energy, Teambuilding, Business, Economics and Management
* Provides research in hydrogen energy and fuel cell technologies
* Provides a stipend with University fees paid by EPSRC
* Involves industry

It is based within the Doctoral Training Centre (DTC) in Hydrogen, Fuel Cells and their Applications. Led by the University of Birmingham in collaboration with Loughborough University and the University of Nottingham, this is the first centre of its kind in the UK
