Advancing the standard of learning and life outcomes for individuals with additional needs requires specialists who not merely contain the necessary understanding, but possess skills and dispositions to work in a fashion that builds the capability of individuals with additional demands, their families and people working with them. The class considers people who have a selection of disabilities and needs across the life span. The class involves a teaching practicum with students with additional requirements, and the structure and completion of a research project. Delivered via a flexible internet manner, and based in authentic learning experiences, the training program is well-suited to in service teachers around Australia and beyond. This course is recognised as being a post-initial instruction eligibility in Inclusive/Special Education (by way of instance, teachers who are qualified to teach in either primary or secondary after which complete the Master of Inclusive Education are recognised as Special Education instructors for k 12 by the NSW Department of Education and postsecondary ).
