The Graduate Certificate in Indigenous Research Methodologies has an opportunity for students to explore and participate with research methods which support purposeful and equitable engagement in native contexts. Students are exposed to and reevaluate alternative epistemological paradigms that may inform research training and allow for engagement in research that provides outcomes that are consistent with all Indigenous communities' vision and goals. Participants of the course develop a deeper comprehension of the epistemological bases of native research methodologies and apply skills learned in working with Indigenous people to procure honorable results that may inform public development and public policy outcomes.
