Individual Support

This qualification reflects the use of workers locally and/or residential surroundings that follow an individualised want to present person-centred support to folks who may require support because of ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement with regard to human support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs.Workers have a range of factual, theoretical and technical knowledge, as well as some theoretical knowledge of the concepts and methods required to supply person-centred support.To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 120 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the components of competency.No licensing, legislative, and regulatory or certification requirements apply to this qualification during publication.
