Individual Support

This qualification reflects the function of workers locally and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to give person-centred support to people who might require support due to ageing, disability or some other reason. Work involves using discretion and judgement with regard to human support in addition to taking responsibility to get outputs.Workers have a range of factual, theoretical and technical expertise, in addition to some theoretical understanding of the concepts and practices required to provide person-centred support.To accomplish that qualification, the candidate should have completed at least 120 hours of are detailed in the Assessment Requirements of the components of competency.No law, legislative, and regulatory or certification requirements affect this eligibility during publication.
