* Graduates have profound theoretical knowledge in statistic, operation and system analysis, system theory and modelling of technical, economical and social systems, information technologies and information engineering. Special knowledge of graduates are completed by the knowledge of the base of economy management, marketing and other social sciences as politology, sociology and philosophy. They have a base knowledge of theoretical disciplines such as discrete mathematics algorithm theory, formal logic as a base of computer science. They understand theories, concepts and methods commonly used in production, marketing, services, governmental administration and financial sector, insurance and military.

* Acquired knowledge of graduates is related to new findings in the science area. Those finding are the base for original reasoning and enable graduates to take a pert in development. Graduates have a critical cognizance of problems in the science area and in a interfaces between science specializations. The knowledge of graduates enables them to pretend for the study in PhD study programmes. The have an undoubted cognizance on limits of its knowledge and on its further study content.

The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport of the Czech Republic (hereafter referred to as the "Ministry") annually offers scholarships to foreign nationals, pursuant to bilateral intergovernmental or deparmental agreements concluded with a number of countries. Scholarships are awarded to applicants nominated by the competent authorities of eligible countries (37.00 KB).
Scholarships of this type are designed for university/college students or graduates and Ph.D. candidates (exceptionally also for university researchers/teachers) who wish to accomplish a study or research stay at one of the Czech public institutions of higher education. Its length usually ranges from 2 to 10 months depending upon the agreement made by the Czech government and the foreign government concerned that specifies also the categories of eligible recipients.
The scholarship award is notified by a Decision issued by the Ministry. There is no legal claim to the scholarship award. The scholarship is not transferable to another person.
Its amount is periodically reviewed and adjusted. For the academic year 2010/2011, the scholarship amounts to CZK 9,000per month (about EUR 350) for those who do not hold a Master's degree or equivalent and CZK 9,500 (about EUR 370) per month for holders of a Master's degree or equivalent.
Scholarship-holders are exempted from tuition fees. The scholarship has to be collected in person at the appropriate department of the respective Czech university.
Inexpensive accommodation at student dormitories is offered as well as the possibility to take meals at student catering facilities. The applicants are requested to indicate in their application form whether they wish to obtain lodging at a student dormitory.
