This programme is delivered jointly by the University of Baths School of Management and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. It teaches engineering and science graduates key management and leadership skills whilst simultaneously training management graduates about the technological operations within business.

Whilst other programmes explore the management of technology from either a technical or management perspective, our MSc is unique through its combination of management and engineering, integrating the two disciplines to ensure you have the necessary skills to manage across boundaries.

A full-time, 12-month intensive Masters programme, the MSc in Innovation and Technology Management is a joint degree run by two of the University of Baths top ranked departments - the School of Management and the Department of Mechanical Engineering. It is designed for graduates with at least a 2:1 Honours degree (or overseas equivalent) in engineering, management or science.

The MSc in Innovation & Technology Management combines business and engineering modules to deliver a truly innovative MSc programme

* Full-time programme lasting 12 months
* Divided into two semesters and the dissertation period

All students study the same five core courses in Semester 1:

* Management of Innovation
* Decision analysis
* Managing product development
* TRIZ-based innovation
* Creativity and innovation methods

Semester 2 consists of five courses, each one week in length:

* Engineering and project management
* Commercialisation of new technology
* Innovation in networks
* Technology strategy and organisation
* International networks for production, services & logistics

Candidates should have a good undergraduate degree (2:1 or above or overseas equivalent) in engineering, management or science. Other subjects will also be considered. An essential requirement will be students who have a high degree of maturity and curiosity with regard to producing world-class organisations in the 21st century. We also require: * A minimum of GCSE Grade B (or overseas equivalent) in Mathematics * A minimum of GCSE Grade C (or overseas equivalent) in EnglishIn addition, all non-native speakers of English are required to have passed English language tests. English Language Requirements IELTS band: 6.5 TOEFL iBT® test: 92 IMPORTANT NOTE: Since April 2014 the ETS tests (including TOEFL and TOEIC) are no longer accepted for Tier 4 visa applications to the United Kingdom. The university might still accept these tests to admit you to the university, but if you require a Tier 4 visa to enter the UK and begin your degree programme, these tests will not be sufficient to obtain your Visa.
