This program intends to present students with grounding in global growth concepts, theories and approaches. Students are designed with analytical and technical skills needed to critically engage in development problems and debates from an interdisciplinary perspective, and also to work across broad regions of development policy, research and practice. The class begins with foundational units in development theory and casestudies, before enabling students to specialise in among a number of areas, including development policy and practice; development and politics; and economics of development.

A bachelor level, aligned with a few of those specialisations of this program, or an equivalent qualifications, as recognized by UWA. English language requirements apply.
