The class provides students an understanding of the modern financial techniques underpinning investment, financing and risk management decisions of transnational corporations. Students will cover international financial marketsand international corporate governance, other investments, derivative securities and worldwide portfolio management. Students will develop analytical skills to make key financial management decisions, including time value of money, risk-return investigation and how to apply basic mathematics to address real world financial decision issues. This class aims to provide a high-level education in fund issues and research methodologies. Depending on unit alternative, pupils may be eligible for membership to Finance and Treasury Association, Financial Planning Association and the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.

  • A bachelor degree or other qualification at a higher AQF level in any discipline
  • Or successful completion of Experts Qualifying Program (MQP)
  • Or Additional evidence of academic capability judged to be equivalent
